Horse Riding Lessons
Whether you are a beginner, a seasoned rider or just wanting to get back into the saddle, we have a lesson to suit you. We have both group and private lessons available for all ages and standards. Read through our list of Lessons and pick the one that’s right for you! if you don’t see what your looking for just give us a call and we can tailor a lesson to suit your needs. Group Lessons
Group lessons are an hour long with up to 8 riders that are all of a similar ability. For Beginners / Riders on the Lead Rein, group lessons are available at weekends only, (except Tiny Tots). For Advanced Riders / Riders off the Lead Rein, lessons are available at weekends and weekday evenings.
Taster Lessons
Taster lessons are available for all, but are best suited to little ones as they are only 15 minutes long, they are perfect as an introduction to riding or for someone returning after a long break.
Tiny Tots
Half hour group lesson for younger children (under 6) Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 4pm.
Western & Side-Saddle Lessons
Try a different style of riding and learn either western or side saddle. Yee Haa! Pretend to be a cowboy on the plains of American rounding up them cattle with ya lasso! Or travel back to the middles ages and learn how the ladies did it back in yesteryear. Private lessons only.
Private Lessons
Private lessons are 30 or 45 minutes where you have one on one instruction. These are more intense than a group lesson but allows you to work on different things, you could try something new and have a lunge lesson or if your nervous, conquer your fears and give jumping a go! If there are more of you wanting a lesson together, you can have a semi-private lesson where the price per person will decrease. Lessons available weekdays, with very limited spaces at the weekend and Friday evenings.
Stable Management
Learn how to groom and tack up your horse, muck out or just do some general horsey stuff. A non riding 30 minute session – Tell your instructor what you’d like to do.
Walk and Trot Hacks
For those wanting to get out of the indoor school, we can offer a walk and trot around the local roads where your instructor will walk along side your horse (weather permitting). Just mention this is what you want to do when you book your private half hour lesson. Unfortunately we are no longer able to offer beach hacks.
Please Note:
All private lessons at the weekend and weekdays after 4pm are weather permitting as they are outside. This means that if it is raining hard, or extremely windy etc, that the lesson may be cancelled. Please make sure you ring in advance to check if its running as you may incur a booking fee if you don’t turn up, or waste your time travelling if its cancelled. If it is raining lightly, the lesson will still go ahead so bring your waterproofs as you may get wet.
